XWallet
Shared Wallets. Controlled Spending.
The problem XWallet solves
✅ How XWallet Solves a Real Need for Families & Organizations
The Problem:
Managing shared finances in families and organizations is often stressful and inefficient. Whether you're trying to:
- Track a family’s monthly budget,
- Empower team members to make purchases within a company,
- Or manage shared spending for a community or non-profit,
the same issues keep showing up:
❌ One person controls the funds.
❌ Manual reimbursements take time and cause tension.
❌ No clear visibility into who spent what.
❌ No way to set and enforce spending limits.
This leads to mistrust, financial errors, and delays in decision-making.
The Solution – XWallet:
XWallet is a shared smart wallet designed specifically for families and organizations to:
✅ Create a shared wallet for all members.
✅ Assign custom spend limits to each family or team member.
✅ Track spending in real-time, with full transparency.
✅ Reimburse members and the organization easily, directly from the wallet.
✅ Give everyone access—with guardrails.
🎯 Designed for Real-Life Scenarios
👨👩👧👦 Families can give teens spending access with limits, no more unexpected charges.
🏢 Organizations can empower team members to spend without sacrificing oversight.
🫂 Communities & DAOs can manage funds with full transparency and shared responsibility.
Challenges I ran into
Notable Obstacles & How We Overcame Them in Building XWallet
- Smart Contract Design for Shared Wallets
Challenge:
Designing a smart contract that supports multi-user access, custom spend limits, and reimbursement logic without compromising security was complex. Traditional wallets are built for single-user access and lack shared ownership logic.
Solution:
I implemented a modular contract system with role-based permissions and enforced spend limits directly on-chain. Rigorous unit testing and contract audits were used to validate all edge cases, ensuring the safety of shared funds.
