Blockchain technology would be used in an AR/VR experience using Web3 for treasure-seeking to improve the experience. Using Web3 technology, gamers might pay with cryptocurrencies to gain access to secret locales for treasure seeking or to buy hints or clues. In addition, they might get digital tokens or cryptocurrencies as prizes for successfully completing treasure hunts.

Players would utilize AR/VR technology in this experience to scout out real-world areas in quest of buried wealth. The quest would become much more exciting with the addition of the AR/VR headgear, which would overlay digital hints and riddles over the real-world setting. Also, players may converse with other treasure seekers in real-time, swapping hints and techniques or working together to solve riddles.
