Redefining talent your one step solution

The problem Xencruit solves

This system addresses major challenges in remote technical interviews, particularly impersonation, cheating, and lack of real-time monitoring. With rising remote hiring, ensuring that the right candidate is attending the interview has become increasingly difficult. Traditional video interviews are vulnerable to fraud, such as sending a proxy or using hidden support.

The solution uses real-time face and voice verification to continuously confirm the candidate’s identity throughout the session. It integrates liveness detection, voiceprint matching, and cross-session consistency checks to prevent impersonation. The system also detects anomalies such as multiple faces, prolonged absence, or voice mismatches, and alerts recruiters instantly.

It adapts to real-world conditions with low-light facial recognition, noise suppression, and robust handling of partial occlusions like glasses or masks. Importantly, it stores data securely, using encrypted biometric templates and maintaining compliance with GDPR/CCPA regulations.

Recruiters get a dashboard with live status, dynamic risk scores, session replays, and downloadable reports—ensuring transparency and integrity. Overall, this system provides a trusted, secure, and scalable solution for conducting high-stakes remote assessments, allowing companies to make confident hiring decisions based on verified candidate participation.

Challenges we ran into

The system may face several key challenges during real-world deployment. Environmental variability—such as poor lighting, background noise, and low-quality cameras or microphones—can reduce the accuracy of face and voice recognition. This makes consistent performance across different devices and conditions difficult.

Privacy concerns are significant, as users may be uncomfortable with continuous biometric monitoring. Despite encryption and GDPR/CCPA compliance, clear consent and transparency are crucial to build trust.

False positives or negatives can occur, where genuine candidates are wrongly flagged or fraud goes undetected. This can affect fairness and undermine recruiter confidence in the system.

Ethical concerns may also arise, as candidates could feel over-monitored, especially during high-stress interviews. Balancing security with a respectful user experience is important.

Hardware and connectivity limitations may restrict access for users with outdated or low-performance systems, impacting inclusivity.

Scalability and cost are additional concerns, as real-time biometric processing requires robust infrastructure—posing challenges during large-scale hiring drives.

Finally, evasion tactics like deepfakes or voice clones continue to evolve, requiring ongoing updates to spoof detection systems.

Overcoming these challenges will be essential to ensure reliability, fairness, and wide adoption of the system in diverse real-world scenarios.
