This Platform, WSafe, is especially designed to ensure the security of womens who are more prone to threats than others.
This Platform ensures that they/anyone can notify other people about their situation/problem and get help ASAP.
The features like:
- live location sharing
- image sharing
- live chat
- SOS alert
- Emergency message
- Voice chat
- etc
can be used by any person in distress to:
- ask for help
- report any mishap
- send SOS
- call backup
- etc.
This platform can be extended to support multiple platforms and include administration also.
Challenges we ran into
Some Challenges we faced while building this project includes:
- Transferring voice between users
- we used socket.io to transfer audio while reducing the time lag
- uploading image
- we used multer to achieve this functionality
