The problem WorldFund solves

Challenges we ran into

One of the key challenges we faced while building WorldFund was integrating the iris authentication system with our decentralized blockchain architecture. Ensuring the biometric data was securely processed and stored while maintaining user privacy and meeting regulatory standards was a complex hurdle. We had to balance decentralized storage solutions with sensitive biometric data, which required a lot of research and testing.

To overcome this, we implemented zero-knowledge proof protocols, allowing us to verify users' identities without exposing their actual iris data on the blockchain. This approach ensured user privacy while maintaining the integrity and security of the voting and funding processes. We also conducted extensive tests to ensure the system performed well under various conditions, allowing us to streamline the authentication process securely.
