The problem WorkHear solves

Less than one in 10 visually impaired people of working age find a job, any job to do. WorkHear addresses this problem by making job search easier for those visually impaired or blind by providing a web-based, voice-controlled platform.

Challenges we ran into

We thought about listing jobs by web scrapping, however, there weren't many websites that had opportunities for the visually impaired. We overcame this challenge by deciding to have a job posters side where recruiters can post jobs that are meant for these people.
Another challenge we faced was time. This was our first time working with Alan AI and trying to figure out how to integrate it and make it work was a challenge, and we did as much as we could.
