The problem Women_safety_Analytics solves
Our project tackles the rising crimes against women by offering a proactive safety solution. It continuously monitors environments in real-time using smart detection systems. Whenever a suspicious or violent activity is detected, it instantly alerts authorities and guardians. The system also helps reduce false alarms by verifying events before sending notifications. Overall, it ensures faster response and enhanced safety for women in vulnerable situations.Additionally, it provides analytics on safety incidents to help identify high-risk areas. This empowers communities and individuals to take preventive measures more effectively
Challenges we ran into
Some challenges we faced included ensuring accurate detection in crowded or low-light environments, minimizing false positives, and maintaining real-time performance. Integrating multiple alerts, handling network latency, and making the system user-friendly were also significant hurdles.
We also faced difficulties in calibrating the camera for different angles and environments. Ensuring seamless communication between modules without delays was challenging. Additionally, collecting and processing diverse data for training the detection models required extra effort.
