WitTrade is a marketplace that connects learners and startups through real-world projects.
Learners can use it to gain practical experience, mentorship, and build verified portfolios, instead of struggling with traditional internships or fake assignments. Startups benefit by accessing motivated talent, testing ideas at low risk, and identifying potential hires through real performance rather than just resumes.
The platform makes collaboration easier by offering structured dashboards, and progress tracking, and safer by ensuring fair opportunities, transparent contributions, and reduced hiring risks for both learners and startups.

- Balancing two user roles (learners & startups) with different data needs in a single system.
- Designing clean authentication flows with JWT while handling role-based access.
- Frontend–backend integration issues such as CORS errors and routing mismatches.
- Keeping UI consistent across pages (auth forms, landing page, dashboards) while avoiding overflow and layout breaks.
- Time constraints in implementing both core features (auth, project matching) and a polished UI.
- Database structuring — deciding between a single collection vs. separate collections for different user types.
- Ensuring smooth transitions and responsiveness in the UI while keeping the design professional.
