Building a decentralized betting platform wasn’t without its hurdles. Some of the key challenges I faced were:
Designing the Betting Logic
At first, structuring peer-to-peer betting logic without a central house was tricky. I looked into how platforms like Polymarket handle markets and payouts to better understand fair design patterns. This gave me inspiration to adapt the logic for my use case.
SDK & Integration Issues
Integrating the MiniKit SDK for onchain interactions came with a steep learning curve. The documentation wasn’t always straightforward, but diving deep into it and testing small pieces step by step helped me gradually piece things together.
