Making online education possible for specially-abled stars

The problem Wings Team App solves

COVID-19 has forced all of us to rely on complete online education, which could be convenient for normal people like us, by just having proper internet access but what for those who are specially-abled like visually impaired?

These people are finding it a way difficult to cope up with the online classes and grab proper education. In version 1 of the Wings team app, We focus on the blind stars out there.
In a concise manner, they face problems as:
1 - Are unable to traverse the UI of any such online classroom app or website as they can only feel and not see its features for proper usage.
2 - Cannot control the app on their own and needs assistance.
3 - Cannot keep track of muting and unmuting, asking doubts, and all the regular things in between online lectures.

We thus present the Wings app version 1 to help blind people to take online classes, using gestures like swipes and long-press with voice assistance to navigate with direct access to current running classes. Enabling the simple and delicate design of the app we provide them a classroom app that meet their specific needs personalized to care.

Challenges we ran into

For making an online classroom for special people, to think of their necessities, things they can do , things they cant was the biggest challenge we faced during this time. Figuring techniques on taking responses from such special childs, blind people in this version, was another challenge.
Apart from these creative challenges , to implement the video room and flutter concepts to frame and design a classroom prototype in one day was another challenge for us.
Integrating students and teachers to uniquely coordinate was the main point that required challenging consideration.
Still it was quite fun to solve all challenges and get through the hack.
