The problem WeSafe solves

Women Safety is one of the biggest concerns of modern society, with a steep increase in crime against women, their lives have become even more difficult. We need to fight back that's why we came up with a solution which we name WeSafe (android app along with a webportal) which will help women in emergency situations to seek help and make them more aware about their surroundings.

Challenges we ran into

Connecting and interacting with firebase for live location was a tough task. We tried different methods before reaching to our final solution. Storing and marking danger zones was also a complicated task for optimised performance. We found a way storing coordinates such at any position only limited number of zones will be fetched.
