A WebAR-based platform to showcase and interact with NFTs in Augmented Reality.
The problem WebAR NFT Gallery solves
Traditional NFT platforms only allow users to view digital assets on 2D screens. This project brings NFTs into the real world using WebAR, enabling users to visualize and interact with them in Augmented Reality without needing an app or specialized hardware. It enhances the experience of owning, displaying, and engaging with NFTs in a more immersive way.
Challenges I ran into
API Authentication Issues: Faced OpenAI API key authentication errors (401). Fixed it by ensuring the correct API key and proper request format.
WebAR Compatibility: Some browsers didn’t fully support WebAR features. Resolved by optimizing WebXR usage and ensuring fallbacks for unsupported browsers.
Performance Optimization: Handling real-time rendering in AR without lag was challenging. Improved efficiency by optimizing 3D assets and reducing API latency.
