At THIRDINTERNET, we are solving a crucial problem in the early adoption of Web3 technology among high school students (the next-gen).

Our approach involves simplifying the complexities of Web3 and blockchain technology through basic, relatable education that uses real-life scenarios. By doing so, we ensure that these next-gen can easily grasp and engage with these advanced concepts.

Furthermore, we highlight the vast career opportunities within the Web3 space, emphasizing the benefits of building on the Base network. Through our efforts, we not only simplify Web3 for students but also onboarding the next generation onchain.

Challenges we ran into

The greatest challenge was that many schools did not have good access to the internet and computers. Only a few schools had these resources every day. This made it hard for students to fully take part in the summit activities.

Another big challenge was that students had different levels of knowledge and experience with technology. Some students knew the basics of using computers and the internet, while others did not. This made it hard to plan sessions that everyone could understand.

The school management also faced a challenge in giving enough time for the summit. The event happened during the students’ final exams, so the school could only give a short time for the sessions. This was not enough time to cover all the planned topics in detail. We had to focus on the most important ideas and shorten the content to fit the available time without overwhelming the students.

Additionally, we noticed that there was skepticism around the words “blockchain” and “crypto.”
