We strongly believe, if there is an easy way for everyone to make donations on their mobile, then more people will be able to give their love to the most vulnerable communities in the world. Also, the disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic compounds the forces of conflict and climate change, which were already slowing poverty reduction progress. Many charities are severely under-resourced and financially under-resourced and therefore cannot do their jobs effectively.

What it does ⚡🎮🧩👨‍💻

We-donate is an android application that provides facilities to donate the stuff you want just at one click, directly to the needy one. This saves the time and money of the donor. Using this application the one member can request the stuff wants from other users to donate and another donor can log in as a donor and can agree to donate the stuff he wants to from requested ones, also make sure that the stuff he donated has reached the needy or not. We have used Twilio to automate authentication also in the app and users can log in or operate accounts with a valid email through validating OTP. To Make sure that the donations are in the right hands. The user can select stuff he/she wants to donate and schedule its delivery so a delivery boy could be assigned to the donor automatically and will reach out to the donor soon also. This thing also can be tracked by realtime tracking on the app only

Challenges we ran into

We took much time in the google maps API manipulation especially since we can't do a lot of essays per day. Also, faced many problems in the implementation of user authentication so there should be less chance of the problems so that the donors should not suffer. We encountered a couple of challenges along the way as we have tried new technologies both on UI and server-side.
