The problem WarpLearn solves

This project solves the problem of efficiently interacting with large and complex documents such as research papers, contracts, and legal documents. These documents often contain a large amount of information that can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate. Our tool allows users to ask questions in the context of the document and receive relevant answers in real-time, making it easier for them to understand and navigate the document.

Furthermore, traditional methods of interacting with these documents, such as using keyword search, can often be ineffective and time-consuming. Our tool uses vector embeddings and machine learning algorithms to provide more accurate and personalized results based on the user's specific query.

Overall, our project provides an efficient and effective way for individuals to interact with complex documents, making it particularly useful for students, researchers, legal professionals, and anyone who deals with large amounts of complex information on a regular basis.

Challenges we ran into

Our project involved creating an AI tool that helps users interact with their soft resources in a more interactive and engaging way. One of the main challenges we faced was understanding and implementing vector embeddings, which are crucial to the tool's functionality. We also had to find a way to store the embeddings persistently, which led us to using the qdrant vector embedding database. However, setting up and configuring this database was a difficult task, as it was new to us and required a lot of experimentation and troubleshooting.

On the front-end side, we had to figure out how to load and display PDF documents in a user-friendly way. This involved finding a library that would allow us to load the PDFs and split them into individual pages, as well as designing a UI that would make it easy for users to interact with the pages and ask questions.

Overall, our project was a intriguing and challenging endeavor at the same time. We were able to overcome these challenges and create a powerful tool that changes the way people interact with their soft resources.
