Challenges we ran into

For a location-based app, real-time interactions are essential. We faced difficulties ensuring that location data was processed instantly while maintaining security. Shardeum’s high throughput and low latency ensured that location-based NFT minting could occur without lag, allowing for near-instant updates of data on the blockchain. This was key to keeping the app responsive and fluid for users.

As this was our first project on blockchain, we faced a steep learning curve in understanding the technology and how to integrate it effectively into our app. Blockchain concepts like decentralization, smart contracts, and tokenomics were unfamiliar territory for the team. We also had to consider how to handle NFT minting, and integrate blockchain on the website
