The problem WalkIn solves

During this pandemic, even though we are taking maximum precautions to limit or prevent the spread of this disease, we are often required to physically fill out our details when we go to the hospital, shop or visit any other firm. but what we don’t think about is that there is still a risk of contracting the disease, as the same paper and pen are used by numerous people. The solution that we came up with, to overcome this problem is an application called Walk!n. When this application is initially installed, people can register using their phone number and hence complete the details of their profile by entering their name, age, address and other details. Each shop, hospital or organisation will be having their unique QR code, and the application will be installed on their systems. As people visit, the QR code can be scanned from their devices by this application and the details will be transferred to their server and be stored in their systems. Using Walk!n the organisation can track the details and number of people that visited, it also reduces the chances of making errors as compared to physically entering details of people, most importantly it reduces crowding and saves time.So we present Walk!n as a step towards building a new normal.
