We are building Vyapar Saathi, a super-app for Kirana stores with a powerful AI Business Agent at its heart. The app provides simple tools for daily operations, but the agent works in the background to automate and optimize the business, acting as a virtual business manager.
The Agentic AI performs these key tasks:
Autonomous Financial Management: The agent monitors the digital ledger (khata). It autonomously sends polite, automated payment reminders to customers via WhatsApp for overdue credit. It also analyzes daily sales data to forecast cash flow for the upcoming week.
Proactive Inventory Optimization: The agent tracks inventory levels (added via simple barcode scans). When a popular item like Parle-G is running low, it doesn't just send an alert. It autonomously drafts a purchase order with a suggested quantity from a preferred local distributor and presents it to the owner for one-tap approval.
Intelligent Growth Strategy: The agent identifies slow-moving products and suggests actions. For example: "Sales of 'X' soap have been low for 2 weeks. Shall we create a 'Buy 3, Get 1 Free' offer and send it via WhatsApp to your top 20 customers?"
Proactive Credit Facilitation: Based on the store's verified sales data and healthy cash flow, the agent identifies when the business is eligible for a loan. It then proactively assembles a pre-filled loan application using the app's data and connects with partner NBFCs, allowing the owner to apply for a pre-approved loan with a single click.
