Challenges we ran into
During the development of VulnVision, we faced several technical challenges. Handling diverse web technologies required us to adapt our scanner to detect vulnerabilities across various frameworks and server configurations. Integrating IDS/IPS evasion techniques while ensuring ethical security testing was another hurdle, as we needed to implement stealthy scanning without triggering false alarms. Additionally, seamless Flask API integration with the frontend was challenging, as it required efficient data exchange and real-time interaction between the vulnerability scanner, AI chatbot, and web scraper. Overcoming these obstacles helped us create a robust and intelligent security solution
