The problem VRUksha-rakSHAK solves

Disease detection for plants is a must task for people who grow Gardens in their houses to Farmers who cultivate crops. Some times it's hard to consult a technician and find the disease. Due to this reason, many gardeners and farmers are suffering and also having a loss in their farms. For this type of situations What if there is a technician who is free of cost and comes to our home any time any place and finds disease in real-time. This what exactly what our project does.

Challenges we ran into

Deep learning is a task which was made easy using the pre-trained networks. Even though it was an easy task we could not find the correct networks which suit for our dataset .we tried different networks but many gave poor accuracy. Finally when couldn't manage. Now we thought of research papers and we read many research papers we concluded that resnet is best suited for our dataset.
