The problem VR Odyssey solves

Challenges we ran into

In the process of developing VR Odyssey, we encountered several challenges that tested our creative problem-solving and technical skills. Some of the key challenges we faced include:

VR Hardware Compatibility: Ensuring VR Odyssey's compatibility with a wide range of VR hardware and devices posed a significant challenge. We had to optimize the application to work smoothly on various platforms and configurations.

Voice Interaction Integration: Implementing voice-to-voice interaction with the virtual bot Diana required overcoming technical hurdles related to speech recognition and synthesis. It was essential to create a seamless and natural conversational experience.

Data Integration: Integrating data from multiple sources, such as Google 3D Maps and AWS Polly, presented data synchronization and compatibility challenges that we needed to address.

Performance Optimization: VR applications demand high-performance standards. We needed to optimize VR Odyssey to deliver a smooth and immersive experience, even on devices with limited resources.

Despite these challenges, we were able to sucessfully build the final product we thought it would be!
