Revolutionizing Vouchers

The problem Voucherize solves

Voucherize is a decentralized web application that allows users to sell or buy vouchers. This solves the issue of unused vouchers, which many people accumulate after making online transactions. For example, a man who receives a voucher for women's products could sell it on Voucherize if he does not need it. The platform also uses a new bid system that allows users to compete for the same voucher. All transactions on Voucherize are secured using Web3 technology.

Voucherize is a convenient and secure way to get rid of unused vouchers and find the vouchers you need. With Voucherize, you can:

Sell your unused vouchers for cash or cryptocurrency.
Buy vouchers for products and services you want or need.
Compete with other users to get the best price on the vouchers you want.
Be confident that your transactions are secure and private.
If you have unused vouchers, or if you are looking for vouchers for products and services you want or need, then Voucherize is the perfect solution for you. Sign up today and start trading vouchers!

Challenges we ran into

We encountered an Axios network error when attempting to load images using IPFS. To resolve this issue, we decided to switch to our personal network instead of relying on the provided network. However, even on our private network, we experienced delays in loading images due to the IPFS free API's reliance on public gateways. We discovered that waiting for a few minutes allowed the images to load correctly, resolving the problem.

During the development process, we faced challenges with the ERC721 framework, as it was new to us. It took a considerable amount of time to write the smart contract, and when it came to testing and debugging, we encountered several issues, including time constraints and difficulties in fetching voucher details.

Originally, we planned to implement the Superfluid protocol using ERC20 tokens. However, after considering the requirements for vouchers, we made the decision to shift to the ERC721 standard, which involved a significant amount of time and effort.
