The problem Voting System DApp solves
The Project is a revolutionary decentralized application (DApp) that utilizes blockchain technology to overhaul traditional voting systems, alleviating concerns about electoral trust. It offers transparency, security, and accessibility through features like tamper-proof blockchain records, robust cryptography, user-friendly interfaces, decentralization, customizable elections, reduced costs, verifiable identity, real-time updates, privacy, and auditability. This DApp has the potential to reestablish faith in democratic processes and usher in a more secure and reliable future for voting.
Challenges we ran into
Server Error
Error: could not detect network (event="noNetwork", code=NETWORK_ERROR, version=providers/5.7.2)
This error happened while generating the page. Any console logs will be displayed in the terminal window.
We also suffered gas limit drawbacks. Gas limits in a blockchain project have several drawbacks, including the risk of transaction failure due to low limits, restrictions on resource-intensive operations, complexity challenges for smart contracts, volatile gas prices affecting costs and user engagement, fairness concerns regarding resource allocation, congestion during high transaction volumes, and ongoing maintenance. To address these issues, optimizing smart contracts for efficiency, educating users on setting appropriate gas parameters, monitoring network activity, designing for scalability, and regularly reviewing and adjusting gas limits are essential steps which we took. These measures help maintain the security, efficiency, and user-friendliness of the project while navigating the complexities of gas limits.
