Next Generation Voting System.

The problem Voting Genesis solves

Traditional voting systems face growing challenges, including security vulnerabilities, vote tampering, identity fraud, and limited accessibility. Reliance on centralized authorities and outdated infrastructure undermines transparency, trust, and global voter participation, threatening the integrity of democratic processes worldwide. We have build a next generation voting system based on blockchain technology to overcome these challenges, and enable transparent voting. With Voting Genesis, we are not just building a voting system—we are creating a foundation for trust, inclusivity, and democratic resilience in the digital era. This is the genesis of a future where every vote truly counts, and every voter’s voice is heard.

Challenges we ran into

  1. Time Constraints
Limited time to develop, test, and polish the project while balancing innovation and functionality.
  2. Technical Challenges
Blockchain Integration Issues: Difficulties in integrating smart contracts, managing decentralized data, or handling cross-chain interactions.
Security Implementation: Ensuring robust encryption, secure identity verification, and fraud prevention mechanisms within a short timeframe.
  3. Team Collaboration
Coordinating tasks and aligning on a shared vision in a fast-paced environment, especially if team members were remote or from different time zones.
  4. Debugging & Testing
Encountering unforeseen bugs and needing to troubleshoot quickly, particularly with new or unfamiliar technologies.
  5. Learning Curve
Adapting to new tools like the Agoric Orchestration API, Okto SDK, or blockchain frameworks, while simultaneously building a functional solution.
  6. Scope Management
Balancing ambitious features with practical deliverables, often leading to tough prioritization decisions to meet the submission deadline.
