The problem Vote India solves

The website is designed for the citizens of India to spread awareness about the Lok Sabha Election 2019. The beneficiaries of the website are those who will be casting their vote for the first time. The website uses Google Map API to mark the polling stations on the map that are near to the voter. Apart from this feature, website gives information of the forms that are to be filled for registration of the voter id in the electoral list. As it is a cumbersome task to look for each information regarding elections on the government websites, we, hereby, display all the needed information for the first time voters on our website. It includes the basic information about the political parties in India and all constituencies of India. We hope our project helps the citizenry on India.

Challenges we ran into

The greatest challenge is to find the database of the candidates standing for election, list of constituencies in India and most importantly location of polling stations.
