Challenges we ran into
During the development of VITI-Care, we encountered several challenges that required innovative solutions. One significant hurdle was implementing real-time tracking functionality. Initially, we struggled with data synchronization between the user interface and the backend server, causing discrepancies in displayed cleaning progress. To address this issue, we conducted extensive testing and utilized debugging tools to pinpoint the synchronization problem's root cause. Through collaborative efforts within our team, we developed robust data synchronization mechanisms, ensuring accurate and real-time tracking of cleaning progress for users. Additionally, integrating the QR code verification feature presented another challenge. We faced compatibility issues with various QR code scanning libraries, resulting in inconsistent performance across different devices. To overcome this obstacle, we researched alternative libraries and rigorously tested their compatibility with our application. After thorough evaluation, we selected a reliable QR code scanning library that offered consistent performance across all supported devices.
