The problem VirTour solves
Every year students need to travel to multiple colleges physically to explore the college before admission. Consider a JEE student who can be admitted to IIT Kharagpur and IIT Raipur, but cannot visit both colleges. Still, with our project, the student can take a 15-minute tour of each college at zero expense. Also, they get to view all the colleges on a single map so that, no students miss out on a college due to lack of knowledge. If they have any doubts, they can contact the guides of the college via our project.
Challenges we ran into

Authentication of the colleges registering on our website.
Solution -> Checking the college roll number/ Id provided by the university they are affiliated with using web scraping. -
We faced issues linking each tooltip on the map with the virtual tour of that particular college.
Solution -> We had to create an API for the same.
