Vibeverse makes cross platform and cross media recommendations as easy as the click of a few buttons.

Challenges we ran into

During our project timeline, we faced multiple challenges. Two that primarily stood out were:

1. Integrating API calls from other third party applications like Spotify, Netflix, Goodreads and Google Maps.
   Each of these applications have their own distinct functionalities which are fundamental to our project. However, to integrate these APIs, we faced trouble with authentication procedures, data formatting requirements and limiting requests..

2. Converting AI output into a readable and intuitive user interface.
   While we could use the AI to generated recommendations, it was rather difficult translating the raw output into a user-friendly interface. This would require us to create a balance between displaying comprehensive information and avoid overwhelming the user with technical details. Additionally, it would require us to work on the natural language processing interface.

As beginners in our first hackathon, we struggled with setting up the technical backend of our project. Despite our limited coding experience, we focused on finding a strong selling point for our idea and creating a basic website layout. However, we faced difficulties with the backend development due to our lack of expertise.

To tackle this challenge, we made the most of the resources available to us within the tight time frame. We encountered many obstacles along the way but remained determined to find solutions. Our approach involved learning from our mistakes and collaborating closely as a team. Despite the initial setbacks, we persevered and managed to make progress. Our journey as novice coders taught us valuable lessons about problem-solving and resilience.
