earn on your wild nights

Why are you participating for Based LatAm?

because I’m deeply involved in the entertainment and music industry, organizing various festivals across different regions. Through these experiences, I’ve seen massive potential for innovation, particularly in the Latin American market. The unique challenges and opportunities in the region—especially when it comes to decentralization, financial inclusion, and community engagement—are areas where I believe we can make transformative progress using web3 technologies. Latin America’s growing tech adoption, combined with its rich culture, makes it the perfect environment for disruption, and I aim to be a part of that movement.

What challenges are you focusing on?

One of the core challenges in the entertainment and festival industry is that fans, artists, and organizers are not properly compensated for the value they generate. Fans spend money but have no way to earn from their participation, while organizers struggle with opaque data and inefficient financial systems that make event management difficult. Another challenge is the lack of tools for increasing fan engagement and delivering personalized experiences at scale. In Latin America, these issues are amplified by economic volatility and limited access to advanced technological infrastructure. We’re focusing on fixing this imbalance, giving power back to fans and organizers, and creating more transparent and interactive festival ecosystems.

How does your submission address this challenge?

VibeCluv is a decentralized platform that empowers festival-goers to earn from their wild nights while also giving more control and data to event organizers. Fans can earn tokens for attending events, sharing their experiences, and engaging with artists, which they can then spend within the ecosystem on exclusive merchandise, VIP experiences, or even future event tickets. Event organizers benefit from a more engaged audience, better data insights, and simplified management through smart contracts. These contracts handle ticketing, artist payments, and real-time audience engagement metrics, streamlining operations and reducing fraud. VibeCluv also allows fans to have a stake in the event experience, providing deeper connections and driving loyalty. By integrating decentralized technologies, we’re making the festival scene more interactive, transparent, and rewarding for everyone involved.

Challenges I ran into

One of the biggest hurdles was figuring out how to properly incentivize users while keeping the system economically sustainable. We wanted fans to earn meaningful rewards without diluting the value of the tokens or making it feel like a gimmick. To overcome this, we designed a tokenomics model where rewards are tied to specific engagement milestones, ensuring that users contribute value to the ecosystem before earning. Another challenge was developing an easy onboarding experience for festival-goers who are unfamiliar with web3. We addressed this by integrating Base’s user-friendly wallet solutions and creating educational content that makes the transition from traditional ticketing to decentralized experiences seamless.

Additional Features

During the Buildathon, we introduced several new features to VibeCluv. First, we implemented real-time data tracking that allows organizers to access live insights into crowd engagement and preferences, helping them optimize the event on the fly. We also added dynamic NFT tickets, which evolve as fans engage with the festival—unlocking rewards, exclusive experiences, and even giving users a share in the event’s success. This turns a simple ticket into an interactive asset that grows in value as fans participate. These additions make VibeCluv not just a platform for earning on your nights out but a fully immersive experience that enhances both fan and organizer interactions at every level.
