Challenges I ran into

Building VeriNews AI wasn't without its hurdles. Fine-tuning our LLM required extensive training on diverse news datasets to accurately distinguish between credible journalism and misinformation—a process that demanded both computational resources and careful bias mitigation.
Chatbot integration presented another layer of complexity, ensuring our AI assistant could seamlessly explain verification results in conversational, understandable language while maintaining accuracy across different topics and contexts.
Perhaps most critically, we tackled the challenge of unified authentication and feedback systems—creating a single database that securely manages user credentials while simultaneously collecting and processing feedback to continuously improve our detection algorithms.
