The problem Venture Up solves

The current startup ecosystem is broken, with too many fragmented resources and too few opportunities for connection and growth. Startups often struggle to find the right mentors and investors to help them grow. Venture Up connects startups with a network of experienced mentors and investors who can provide valuable feedback and advice, as well as potential funding opportunities. Venture Up provides and centralized platform where startups can connect with other like-minded individuals, mentors, and investors, helping them to expand their network and increase their chances of success. Venture Up allows founders to pitch their ideas and receive valuable feedback advice from experienced mentors and investors, helping them to refine and improve their pitch and increase their chances of success.

Challenges we ran into

As a group of programmers working on a community startup project, one of the most significant problems we ran into was limited network connectivity which hindered with testing our project as well as posed a lot of problems with the amount of intel we managed to gather and research work extensively requires a good internet connection. This being our first hackathon we weren't much aware of how things are at a major event like this which definitely had us second-guessing ourselves resulting in us holding back from over-committing which could've lead to burnout and pose a problem with deadlines.
