We observed that small to mid scale businesses miss out on a lot of sales due to offline mode of operation. Resource wastage is one of the biggest pain points for small replenishment cycle domains.
Our approach is to build an intra-store inventory procurement got small and mid scale businesses. Through this system we will provide stock optimization insights to vendors to help them reduce wastage and increase overall profit. We will also provide product and region level trending and comparison charts.
We spent a lot of time in choosing the problem statement for this hackathon. However, moving forward, it seems like it was worth it. This problem was quite challenging, had a lot of layers and was entirely new to all of the team members.
It was a challenge for us to understand and visualise the supply chain model (which was essential in making this project)
Last but not the least, lack of sleep was also a challenge for us!
