Vaults for circles
The problem vault-circle solves
The problem it solves
VaultCircle simplifies collective yield generation in DeFi.
It allows small groups or communities to pool assets into shared on-chain vaults that automatically earn yield through trusted strategies like Morpho, Yearn on Katana.
Each vault is:
- Fully on-chain and transparent
- Linked to ERC4626-compliant strategies
- Able to donate part of its yield to a chosen address
This makes group savings, social investing, or donation-based yield farming safer and easier to coordinate. The vault abstracts away complex interactions, enabling users to earn and contribute collectively without manual management.
Challenges I ran into
Testing on Tatara required deterministic factory deployments, but the strategies referenced non-existent vaults, causing reverts on “call to non-contract address.”
To fix this:
- Mock ERC20 tokens and mock Katana vaults were built to simulate real yield flow.
- Modular deployment scripts were written for smooth sequential deployment.
- Parameterized runbooks ensured repeatable factory-strategy linking.
This mock-driven approach allowed the entire system to run cleanly on isolated testnets while keeping deployments predictable and composable.

Cheering for a project means supporting a project you like with as little as 0.0025 ETH. Right now, you can Cheer using ETH on Arbitrum, Optimism and Base.
