The problem VaidyApp solves

*We intend to solve supply chain management in the healthcare sector. Our solution is to reduce time on two major ends in the existing system one is the Patient end and the other is medical resources(blood banks, organs like kidneys, bone marrow, etc).
For the Patient's end, we provide KYP([Know Your Patient]) facility which will be on the government-backed blockchain. This will be similar to KYC, in this patients will not have to register every time in any hospital. Every patient will have a unique id and password which will help hospitals in getting patients' medical histories and this will solve the registration problem. More importantly, it will create a patient database across India just like KYC is.

  For Medical resource management, we will store resource data in our database cryptographically. Using cryptography public key, the entire history of the blood unit can be traced back to the blood bank manager. This will help in ensuring that the blood unit has not been tampered with and hospitals can request the resources we will provide the resource details on hospital requests. That will help hospitals have easy and fast access to resources. We implemented it only for blood resources however it can be scalable for other resources.

Challenges we ran into

The most significant obstacle we encountered was related to internet connectivity, while other difficulties included enhancing patient data security and developing KYP technology. Despite the challenges, we gained valuable knowledge from the experience and nearly resolved all of the issues that arose during deployment, such as build failures and problems connecting to mongo Db.
