Vaccine on wheels (VOW)

We have designed a Mobile Vaccination System that vaccinates people in localities thus solving majority of problems and prove to be a game changer in our fight for immunization against COVID-19!

The problem Vaccine on wheels (VOW) solves

As people become eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, one obstacle they may face is finding a vaccination center close to home, and also to minimize the risk of getting infected while overcrowded vaccinating at the Hospitals.
We have designed a system to help state and local partners minimize these types of challenges so that everyone who wants to be vaccinated can be.
Mobile Vaccination Centers(Vans) are one way we are making this happen.
Mobile and pop-up centers are sites that can be set up anywhere with the support of entities such as local public health clinics, health care providers, pharmacies, community and faith-based organizations, employers, private sector vaccinators and federal resources.
Some of these centers are on wheels — such as inside of a trailer that can drive from location to location. Other centers are pop-ups that can be set up and taken down in any building, often using local resources and expertise.
They tackle the challenges that prevent people from receiving a vaccination: Traveling distance,
Limited access to medical providers or vaccine centers, Lack of mass transportation, Mobility issues, Work and family care schedules.
Also in in India, as there are many rural areas, villages and low population density areas with Inadequate Medical Facilities, these mobile vaccination centers will give a rapid boost in our fight for immunization against COVID-19.
This very Mobile Vaccination Solution is applied countering to the the challenges put up against vaccination drive in the unique varying Geographical conditions of India, farthermost places in the Mountaineous Himalayas, the far North-East and the remote desert settlements in the Thar West can be successfully vaccinated even if there is a severe lack of Medical Infrastructure in these difficult terrain.
These mobile and pop-up sites bring vaccination centers closer to the communities and people that need them: they meet people where they work, live and socialize!

Challenges we ran into

WE gave a deep thought and researched a lot about which model should be the best preferred giving a SWOT Analysis carefully considering all the pros and cons.
Choosing the best model or models for a particular region will be dependent upon many factors such as the Target population, geography of the area, weather, Technology and Services available to us, Staffing Needs and Associated Costs and most important of all, Safety for all!
WE faced a number of challenges during Planning of this Mobile Vaccination System and we effectively found out the Solution(Hack) to each of them successfully in an effective manner.
1.)The foremost problem we were getting was the authentication of each individual.
We researched the appropriate technologies and we concluded that we will register each individual based on his/her AADHAR number and contact number. We are using "Twilio" application API for required OTP authentication on the individual's contact number.
2.)Another problem we were getting was to verify from the doctor as well as candidate that the latter has successfully been vaccinated. So this verification solves the issue.
3.)We were also getting a challenge of scalability in case if a lot of users register at once. This issue could be using Heroku Dynos Scalability Options !
