The problem Tutorshala solves

Tutorshala provides university people with a side hustle, so that they may get extra income. We have seen how some people opt to give private tutions to some school students either by going to their houses to teach or having batches of student come to their place. This will allow people to sign up as either students or teachers. For new teachers, they whave to give a mandatory assessment test and to be selected as a verified tutor of a particular subject, they have to pass that subject's assessment. Questions will be subjective and the answers will be checked by AI. Students are allowed to choose teachers around their area on a map, where closest teachers can be seen and sent a request to become their teacher. There is a chat feature too for students and teachers.

Challenges we ran into

There were many challenges we ran into. for example:

1. Working with socket.io was difficult as it was out first time working with it
2. Our main frontend developer became sick and was not able to attend the hackathon, hence despite having a complete backend we were not able to complete our frontend
