The problem TrustShop solves
Lack of Trust in Online Marketplaces: Many online marketplaces suffer from a lack of trust due to fraudulent sellers and misleading product descriptions. TrustShop solves this by enabling buyers to review products after purchase, ensuring that only quality products and trustworthy sellers thrive.
Incentivizing Honest Reviews: Traditional review systems often lack genuine feedback as there are no incentives for buyers to leave reviews. TrustShop addresses this by rewarding buyers with TST tokens for their honest reviews, encouraging more detailed and accurate feedback.
Ensuring Product Quality: Buyers frequently encounter products that don't match their descriptions or quality expectations. TrustShop's review system, backed by TST token rewards, helps in maintaining high product quality by holding sellers accountable for their listings.
Transparency in Transactions: Online transactions can sometimes be opaque, leading to distrust among buyers. TrustShop leverages blockchain technology, using ETH and TST tokens, to create a transparent and secure purchasing process, building buyer confidence.
Combating Fake Reviews: Many platforms struggle with fake reviews, which can mislead buyers. TrustShop’s token-based reward system encourages genuine buyers to leave authentic reviews, reducing the prevalence of fake feedback and improving overall marketplace integrity.

Challenges we ran into
Front-End Development: As a team with limited experience in front-end development, creating a user-friendly and visually appealing interface was a significant challenge for us. Despite the learning curve, we put in substantial effort to develop a functional front-end, ensuring it met the project's requirements and provided a good user experience.
Understanding Ethereum Attestation Service (EAS): Familiarizing ourselves with the Ethereum Attestation Service was another major hurdle. Since we weren't initially acquainted with EAS, we had to invest considerable time in researching and understanding its functionalities. However, the comprehensive support and documentation provided by EAS facilitated a smoother integration into our project.
