TrustNET is a farcaster mini-app that allows users to give and request undercollateralized loans. The user is incentivized to be honest, since their social reputation is at stake.
The problem TrustNET solves
TrustNET tries to solve the impossibility of getting an undercollateralized loan in web3 by using the social reputation as the remaining collateral.
User Interaction and Data Flow
The user can launch the app by clicking on the Farcaster Frame. The client opens and the user is already able to filter, evaluate and select loans that he would like to finance. Then he can go in the cart and perform the checkout to finance all the selected loans.
The user can also create a new loan request that will be added to the requested loans list.
In his account page, the user can verify his humanity by clicking the "verify" button. If a user's Farcaster Address was issued with the humanity credential, the user will receive a special badge that attests his humanity.
The project architecture and development process
The project starts from a Next.js Farcaster frames v2 template, the whole client is built on it.
Product Integrations
Turso was used as database provider to store some user informations, Humanity Protocol APIs were called to verify the user's humanity.
Key differentiators and uniqueness of the project
There is no undercollateralized loan protocol in web3 that leverages the social reputation. TrustNET wants to be a first experiment to start addressing this.

The project was entirely built during the week of ETHDenver 2025 hackathon.
