Connect with people in your city using farcaster channels
Why are you participating for Based India?
We began exploring Farcaster channels as a separate app "Tribe" a niche social community during Onchain Summer Hackathon (https://devfolio.co/projects/tribe-180b). Now, we're moving forward with building it, incorporating unique features to enhance the experience. That's why we're focused on developing this Tribe App.
What challenges are you focusing on?
How to maintain active engagement with the community in a city on a daily basis.
How does your submission address this challenge?
The challenge we're tackling is building a dedicated community app for cities using Farcaster channels. Our goal is to create an engagement-rich experience by leveraging the Base network and gradually introducing new features over time.
Challenges we ran into
We are building the app using Farcaster channels, but many features we envision are not currently part of the protocol, which has become a significant challenge.
