The Product is aimed to solve the problem of Travellers

The problems solved are

The Product has an inbuilt expense Tracker for Tracking the expenses during the travel
The User is Provided with Recommendation of Top cities for Travelling and also weather conditions
The Product provides detail description of the city user wants to visit and also the covid statistics
corresponding counrty and reviews by other Travellers
The product also has an integrated map which facilitates the budding traveller

Challenges We Faced:

Integrating a Django back-end (Python) with a Javascript front-end (Reactjs) and Node.js: Read documentation and articles that helped us go about using 2 servers with a common front-end
Acquiring a dataset and training the collaborative filtering algorithm: We were required to emulate a dataset for the training and deployment of the model.
Creating a currency exchange component that provides the latest exchange rates: After a lot of research, discovered the exchanger API (https://api.exchangeratesapi.io/latest)
Creating a weather widget that dynamically updates when given the location: Used OpenWeather API which upon passing the coordinates, provided with a weather forecasting chart.
