Household waste, broadly segregated as dry and wet, will be collected directly from the people using the specialized bins. These bins will be laid at places depending upon population density of that area. They are fitted with weighing, humidity sensors, scanners and with technologies discussed below. The concept is that people will bring their waste segregated from home itself for dry and wet bins. That may sound uninteresting, but the catch is that people will get paid for every gram of waste they bring to throw inside bins. When they put their waste in bins, weighing sensor will find the weight difference inside bin, then within 5 minutes that individual have to scan the QR code appearing on the bin using our app, that people have to install on their phone, for obvious reasoning. IoT will help us to credit the amount in app digital wallet of code scanner, that will be linked to bank of individual person or third-party digital money transaction platform.

COLLECTION OF PUBLIC WASTE
No doubt, waste publicly littered are packages of processed items, hence they contain barcodes on them. While at public places bin user can make the code scan from bin and using mobile app scan QR code on bin, DONE! , now they will be reward in pennies accordingly. You might be pondering, what about waste with no barcode, then if you simply use specialized bins then we will pay you for every gram, above our minimum standard, when you dispose waste to right bin.

Why people will use specialized bins?
Researches have shown that, Instant rewarding makes people motivated to do the right things. The whole project revolves around this principle. Public participation is also quite reasonable in a way that till now people have to give money to household waste collectors, but now after connecting to this project, they can not only cut their expense, but can also earn from disposing their waste themselves.
Use of these bins in public will be like a domino effect. Bins majorly are kept at public places will be interactive in a way that throwing garbage in bins will become an activity of amusement and feeling proud.

What will be the money source for rewarding?
Broadly segregated waste from the bins will be collected on regular basis, which will be transported to closest and respective recycling centers. The project will join the hands with local recycling companies, that possibly, contains the most potential to reduce the waste before they are send to landfills. No doubt, the project will also collaborate with municipal centers at places they give us the fruitful results. As project is easing out the workload of manufacturing companies, which are burdened with Extended Product Responsibility policy, so our actions will possibly be funded by them.
Eventually, compost and other recycled product will be the main money source, which will complete the cycle. Thus, in short people will be funding the project, and paying themselves rewards for contributing in zero waste agenda.
