The problem TraCov - Track and Trace COVID solves

The app is able to solve the problem of tracking the spread of COVID-19 among citizens and tracing out the person/host of the VIRUS. Existing goverment app Aargyu setu is incapable of tracing the origin but our app combats that and introduces features like genrating HeatMap based on COVID cases and notify users that came in close contact with a COVID case. The app uses MESH NETWORKING and EXPSORUE NOTIFCATION so NO INTERNET is required throughout the whole process. The app offers much better and updated features than current Aargyu Setu.

We've divide users into 3 categories :
1} Safe - GREEN/BLACK
2} Potenital Threat - Orange (Anyone that has came in contact with COVID case in past 2 weeks)
3} Danger - Red (Someone who reported himself as being infected)

** The potenial threat users are those who usually came in contact with someone infected in last 2 weeks, they recive a notification with details and are asked to take COVID test in nearby facility.

Features being :
1} Trace the origin in a community (by forming Edges between users(nodes))
2} Locate the origin
3} Get notified if you ever came in close vicinty to someone infected with location details as well as TIME STAMPS
4} Report your case if infected
5} HeatMap genration based on COVID casualities/record

Future Updates :

• Implement an AR/VR feature to visualize this chain of network and give user feedback about its travel.
• Use better framework for HeatMap implementation

Challenges we ran into

Implementing EXPOSURE API and customizing it for our uses, and using mesh networking. We eventually figured it out after some official help from stackoverflow :) We used NearBY API to help us implement the idea of Mesh Networking.
