The problem Time Nest solves
Today, our special memories are saved in many different places—like social media apps, cloud drives, and personal devices. This makes it hard to keep everything together and safe in one place.
Time Nest (Eternal Moments) helps fix this by giving people one simple and secure place to:
Save and lock memories to be opened in the future. Share memory capsules with family, friends, or even groups. Celebrate special days by unlocking memories (like birthday wishes, love letters, or personal messages for future use).
It’s like a digital time machine that brings back feelings and moments at the right time.
Challenges we ran into

Choosing Date and Time Easily
We wanted users to pick or type a date and time (in AM/PM format) without errors. So, we added a calendar and time input that work well together, making it easy and clear for everyone. -
Countdown Timer Accuracy
The countdown (showing how much time is left to unlock a memory) had to update correctly in real-time. It also had to work the same across all time zones. We solved this by doing accurate time calculations and updating the timer regularly using React tools like useEffect and setInterval. -
Saving Files Safely
We built a well-planned backend system to store memory files.
Users can also choose to save files using Firebase for extra options.
