To receive recognition and mentorship from the Base team. Also, the funds to help us keep it running.

What challenges are you focusing on?

Tike addresses the lack of seamless integration between media creation, ownership, and monetization in web3. Current platforms are either too complex or niche, limiting mainstream adoption. We also tackle the discovery and engagement gap for web3 dApps, NFTs, and DeFi, making it easier for users to explore and interact with these ecosystems.

With Base, we can solve challenges around scalability, affordability, and user accessibility, bridging the gap between web2 familiarity and web3 innovation, helping onboard more users in a smooth, intuitive way.

How does your submission address this challenge?

Tike simplifies web3 adoption by allowing users to create, mint, and monetize media content in a familiar, social app. With wallet integration and an Explore page for discovering web3 dApps, NFTs, and DeFi protocols, Tike bridges web2 and web3 seamlessly. Leveraging Base’s scalability, we make web3 accessible, empowering creators while driving broader adoption through an intuitive user experience.

Challenges we ran into

A few challenges:

1. Channels were recently updated, so we have to make changes based on that on our client. There are not a whole lot of operations that are open to clients other than Warpcast at this point.
2. Indexing issue with frame creation after casting a frame url with respect to metadata. We have raised this with the Neynar team. Also, limitation with minting from a frame for a certain condition (action_type: "mint") on Neynar API.
   We haven't overcome the above yet.

During the course of the hackathon, we added:

1. Coinbase Smart Wallet interaction
2. The swap feature, swap/bridge between assets cross chain
3. Interact with frames on the client directly
4. Mint your content/artwork on Base powered by Zora
5. A created tab to see your mintable artwork
