The problem Ticket Hive solves
TicketHive revolutionizes the ticketing industry by solving key challenges faced by both buyers and sellers and is laid on Hive Blockchain Technology. Firstly, we simplify ticket acquisition with a user-friendly website and genralized tiecketing mechanism offering tickets for flights, trains, buses, and various events. Secondly, we introduce a robust ticket resale feature, empowering users to recoup their investment by listing tickets for resale. Leveraging blockchain technology, we enhance security and authenticity with Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) for each ticket, ensuring traceability and eliminating the risk of fraud. Our platform puts users in control, offering comprehensive ticketing solutions in one place, making ticketing simpler, more efficient, and user-friendly for all.
Challenges we ran into
- Integrating with Hive blockchain and navigating its API for block streaming posed significant challenges.
- Crafting a revenue model that balances profitability for the company and benefits for users required careful consideration.
- Overcoming the absence of smart contracts on Hive presented hurdles in tokenizing NFTs, which we addressed by innovatively utilizing unique ticket IDs as a workaround.
