During development, a significant hurdle was ensuring consistent accuracy across various devices and browsers due to differences in JavaScript engine implementations. This resulted in occasional discrepancies in calculation outputs. To overcome this, I implemented rigorous cross-browser testing using tools like BrowserStack. Additionally, I optimized the codebase, focusing on algorithm efficiency and error handling to minimize the impact of browser inconsistencies. Through meticulous debugging and testing iterations, I managed to identify and rectify the root causes of the discrepancies, ultimately ensuring reliable performance across platforms. This experience reinforced the importance of thorough testing and robust error handling in web development projects.
