The problem The StudentSphere solves

The web app makes a space for students which acts as a go to place for all their college life problems be it internships, profile building,assignment and grade tracking, finding study resources etc. The app helps them find a balance between academics and personal life by helping them find work opportunities, letting them express their views, maintaing a profile, keeping them updated about nearby happening events in their area of interest and much more.It helps them set reminders for deadlines in a click and know the state of their grades and scope of improvement without much effort , also helps them show off their skills by posting their projects and other works thus having a healthy professional social life and boosting their morale to work harder to enhance their profiles.It allows them to write blogs which helps them inflict their opinions and share their experiences in a peaceful and positive space.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge that we ran into was to find a way to make the application smoothly functionable and to find a proper flow for inculcating all the features that cater to a vast variety of student needs .As soon as we decided what features we want to have to make this app wholesome we landed into the trouble of bringing everything into one roof in an organised manner. We also faced the issue of having personalized recommendations in this world of thousands of professions. We got over these challenges by dividing the app into a public and a private section that covers the professional opportunities ,profile building and personal tracking systems respectively , we decided to take user's interests as inputs and filter our results accordingly, we also decided to have filters on all the pages seperately to give more specified feed to users.
