This app removes the complexity of cryptocurrency transactions by eliminating the need for users to handle public addresses. Instead, it uses simple, memorable usernames, making crypto transfers as easy and familiar as sending a payment to a friend, and hereby builds an ecosystem around the Base network.

I had errors while trying to map usernames to private keys, so I created another column in the database. I also had issues logging in using either email or username, so I modified the code to check: if it’s an email, it should query the email column; otherwise, it should use the username column directly.

I faced problems while working on the forgotten password email-sending link, but after doing a lot of research, I finally fixed it. I also had issues using Flutter, so I switched to Flutter Flet, following the documentation. Additionally, I encountered problems working on the estimated gas fee and on the search page, so I decided to query the database in real time instead.

This application does not use a smart contract address. Instead, transactions are sent directly from the user’s account, and the required ETH for the gas fee is charged from their account balance.
