Challenges we ran into
- Extracting Structured Data from Messy OCR Text
One of the biggest challenges was converting unstructured OCR text from tender PDFs into structured JSON data. - AI Hallucination in Legal Requirements
Tender documents contain legal and contractual conditions, and sometimes the AI would infer requirements that were not explicitly mentioned. - Handling Multiple Tender Formats
Different government departments publish tenders in different document formats. Some provide structured sections, while others mix eligibility, scope, and financial requirements throughout the document.
