In the aftermath of a disaster such as an earthquake, flood, or avalanche, unstable surfaces and challenging terrain generally hinder survivor search on the ground. Drones now play an important role in these situations, allowing rescuers to locate survivors and allocate resources to save those who can be helped. The goal of this project is to explore the usefulness of a drone equipped with a novel Computer Vision system for detecting human life. The proposed system allows the use of video sequences collected by a drone camera to track survivor movement remotely. So this aids the rescue operations.
